Student Photo IDs Please bring one of the following photo IDs: a motor vehicle license or permit, a military ID, passport or a state issued identification card. ID cost is $10. Returning students who already have an ID should stop by the MWCC library on the Gardner Campus or the front office on the Burbank, Devens or Leominster campus to have your ID validated for the fall semester at no charge.
CATS Programming Meeting (Campus Activities Team for Students) – 12:30 pm, Room W11. Come and join in on the fun of planning and running activities for MWCC students (i.e. Scary Karaoke, Fall Fest). Intramural Activity – Open Gym – Try a class, take a swim, shoot some hoops, lift some weights, etc. Wearing appropriate clothes and footwear try out the Fitness & Wellness Center at no cost from 5am-9pm. Anyone under the age of 18 needs a parental signature.

Student Government Association Meeting – 12:30 pm, Murphy Room. Come see them in action and consider running for a seat on the SGA. Meeting open to all.
Club Officer/Advisor 101 Training – 3:30pm-6pm, Room W11. Join us for an informal recap of the full club President & Treasurer training to review policies, ask questions, network with other clubs, and brainstorm ideas. Please RSVP by 11/4/19.
Film: A Place at the Table – 12:30pm, North Café. 50 Million Americans— 1 in 4 children—don’t know where their next meal is coming from. A Place at the Table tells the powerful stories of three such Americans, who maintain their dignity even as they struggle just to eat. In a riveting journey that will change forever how you think about the hungry, A Place at the Table shows how the issue could be solved forever, once the American public decides—as they have in the past—that ending hunger is in the best interests of us all.
MWCC Goes Bowling – 4pm-6pm, Gardner Ten Pins. Join us for an evening of fun and exercise. Cost is $12 per person and includes 2 hours of bowling and shoe rental. No need to preregister, simply show up at Gardner Ten Pins and let them know you are from MWCC.
Leadership for Life: Bystander Training – 12:30pm, Murphy Room. Help make our campus stronger and safer. Most problematic behaviors concerning physical and sexual violence that happen on college campuses involve bystanders who have the potential to influence positive change. Learn how to recognize an event and decide if you need to act.

Film: V for Vendetta – 12:30pm, North Café. Great Britain has become a fascist state. Now, a shadowy freedom fighter known only as “V” (Hugo Weaving- The Matrix trilogy) begins a violent guerrilla campaign to destroy those who have embraced totalitarianism. In his quest to liberate England from its oppressive ideological chains, “V” recruits a young woman (Natalie Portman – Star Wars: Episodes I-III) he’s rescued from the secret police to join him on an epic adventure to execute a seemingly impossible task.
Great American Smokeout – 12:30pm – 1:30pm, Student Center. Stop by to get information on how to quit smoking or to show your support of those that are trying to quit.
World AIDS Day – 12:30pm-1:30pm, South Cafe. Stop by to show your support and to gather information about AIDS and how it may effect you.
Winterfest Fair – 9am-6pm & 9am-3pm, Commons Area. Join us for this annual fundraiser for the Emergency Student Loan Fund. Enter to win a decorated wreath or a holiday basket. Wreaths are decorated by student clubs and baskets are donated by MWCC departments. Do some holiday shopping from one of our many vendors; items will include jewelry, books, handmade crafts, candles and more. Receive a FREE raffle ticket to win our “Vendor Basket”, filled with items from our vendors, for every $10 you spend at the vendor tables.

Leadership for Life: Get Out of Your Head – 12:30pm, Murphy Room. Feeling stressed? Having a hard time balancing school, work and life? Join us for a stress management workshop with breathing exercises, guided imagery techniques, and other coping strategies to help you reduce and manage stress so you can stay on track for academic success.
Star Wars, “May the Force be with You” – 11:30am-1:30pm, South Cafe. Get the extra boost you need to get through finals, stop by and see the CATS Programming Group and “May the Force be with You”.
Fall 2019 Leadership for Life program –
a series of eight short presentations or service opportunities on topics that will help you feel more comfortable and be successful at MWCC. From the first one in September to the last one in December, Leadership for Life will help you. Upcoming workshops are being held: September 18, October 2, 16, 18, 30, November 13, December 11.
